Universally hailed as one of the great composers of our time and heralded by bands such as Radiohead and Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Steve Reich has transformed the world of contemporary music with his innovative approach to harmony, rhythm and form.
Drumming is one of Reich's most acclaimed works in which the percussion lines are imitated by the vocalists, creating complex textural shadings. Performing this scintillating modern classic was a stunning line-up of virtuoso percussionists, the Colin Currie Group, alongside Synergy Vocals.
