David Byrne came promising to raise the hair on our arms and bring sweat to our palms. Not only did he do that but he also had Royal Festival Hall singing back to him as one hits from across his solo albums and Talking Heads' back-catalogue. Featuring songs from his 30 years of collaborating with Brian Eno and an incredible, bring-the-roof-down encore of ‘Burning Down the House', we were treated to one of the great sets that Royal Festival Hall has seen in recent years. Brian Eno even joined the show for a glorious version of ‘Everything That Happens'. Perfect.
